Time Running

Poetry 1 Minute

Time is running out;
But I will keep running.
Tick tock
Seconds are not endless
Years are.
Infinity spoke to me
Told me all this as
Space warped and
Broke into so many pieces
And I was forced to clean
That mess up.

Time is a funny thing
I heard his act on stage
His jokes were outrageous.

Time is a slow thing
She once made a second seem
Like an infinty as she laughed
At me.

I asked time for the time
He just laughed.

Time dilates
Doesn’t date.
Only dates
The outdated.

We worry time has a no soul
It doesn’t it does whats it told.

Time be nimble
Time be quick
Time jumps
Over the candle stick.

I was Born in Cuba, December 6, 1965. Granted political refuge, my family and I fled to Madrid, Spain, where my twin sisters, Gloria and Jackie, were born. We then migrated to the United States, Cincinnati, Ohio, where my brother, Jimmy, was born . We moved to Tampa, Florida, where I had a poem published in the annual school poetry book at Alexander Elementary. I graduated high school in 1984; afterwhich, I went to Tampa Technical for two years and received an A.S. Degree in Computer Engineering Technology. My publishing credits include short stories online at The Wandering Troll, A Writer's Choice, Science Fiction & Fantasy World, Deathgrip, and Aphelion. I am married to a lovely lady, her name is Donna; she's blessed me with three children (Nikita, Melissa, and Nicholas). And my children have so far blessed me with two beautiful grandchildren Parker and Zoe. My hobbies include reading, writing, sports, and computers.
