Spaceman and Spacecat

The spaceman enters the store,

With his spacecat meowing beside him,

He spots the deli and goes awkwardly

Towards it, limping from the pain

Of sharp moon rocks in his space shoes;

He spots the stars and the moons,

On the very top shelf,

“Can I have some moons for my pup? And two stars

For my eyes? So I can see into forever?”

The clerk agrees and hands the spaceman his stars

For his eyes and hands the moons to his black and blue cat.

A Concerned Cat on my Lap



Cat on my lap
Watching giant bugs on tv
Killing humans.
Cat looks at me
With concern
As the other cat attempts
To jump up on me
From the ceramic floor;
But the other cat decides not too.
I tell cat on my lap its not real
The bugs are not real
Do not worry cat.
The other cat circles
Me and contemplates
The jump once more
Yet leaves the attempt
For another time.
Cat continues to
Watch the bugs
Tearing the humans
Apart with their sharp
Roach like claws.
With concern.
I shake my head,
The bugs are hollywood bugs
And are not real stop
Worring so much cat.
This other cat is sleeping
Next to me and snoring
And maybe even dreaming.
I wonder what is this cat
Dreaming about.
This cat yawns and looks
At me.
And smiles over the sound
Of humans being torn apart.

I Found My Marbles

I found my marbles the other day
placed them on the patio table
underneath the umbrella:
near a bumble bee
near the banana tree
smoking some weed
with this strange looking cat
like the cat in the hat
the bumble bee said to me
“high”
i replied
not really why?


i have some weed
i got some seed
smoke some with me
then take up your marbles
and leave.

Space Cat

my cat in outerspace, wow, flying through the void. wow?
how, is this happening? my cat out in space? strange that you should inquire? its unbelievable to say and tell; and your reply is just as unbelievable. but a cat? in outerspace?

my cat, it soars through the solar winds, waves at me as it smiles that greedy grin and passes by, “bye.”
           brazen?
            brazen?

yeah you can say it is.

my Brazen, flying through time, faster and faster, reaches the speed of light, now twice that, speeding like some cat out hell.

Like A Snake With Fur

wait for me there, by the living chair.
yes I’m coming my friend with the long whiskers.
yes i got your slippers dear.
even though your just a cat.
a slim figured creature, like a snake with fur.
